Trauma informed training
Merseyside's Violence Reduction Partnership runs trauma informed training focused on supporting public sector organisations to understand how psychological trauma can impact individuals and ensure they consider the implications for their services.
Trauma is a global public health crisis according to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention and is a concern for everyone.
Being trauma informed requires an understanding that different life experiences shape the options available to us and our way of being and can use this understanding to influence our interactions and decisions in work and daily life.
We have created a suite of training packages to support Public Services in embedding TIP (Trauma Informed Practice).
These training packages are available to all Merseyside public services and are FREE. Courses are in high demand and it is therefore imperative that once booked, all delegates ensure their attendance. Should you be unable to attend, please provide sufficient notice to allow for those on the waiting list to attend in your place.
The training is 4 sessions long and on consecutive weeks.
