Premiere at curtain raiser

Liverpool fans at this year’s Community Shield opener, can look forward to seeing a “She Inspires” film before kick-off and at half-time.

Thanks to the LFC Foundation, the women’s summer soccer scheme will get plenty of promotion in a flick featuring our partnership.

The promo outlines how both Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner Emily Spurrell, and Chief Constable of Merseyside Police Serena Kennedy, created the tournament.

The Public Address announcer will also relay how thanks to the MVRP, a series of inspiring female role models, including boxer Natasha Jonas, have thrown their weight behind the drive.

“The King Power stadium in Leicester will hear and see what a success the tournament and coaching have been. But “She Inspires” was never just about football and it was obvious on finals day that it had assisted women and girls to gain renewed confidence as well as plenty of skills.

It is fitting that all who took part should be honoured at a game that pits the league and cup winners against each other, because our goal was to improve the women and girl’s life choices, wellbeing, and friendship-circle – and what a victory that is!”
